EPC Commercial UK

The Commercial EPC is a requirement of European Law. It comes from the The (EU) European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) Directive Implementation Advisory Group (DIAG).

The organisation was established in 2002 to advise the UK Government on the energy performance of buildings and the implementation of the European Energy Building Performance Directive.

The requirement for all commercial buildings to have an Energy Performance Certificate came into force on January 1st 2009. You cannot sell or lease your business property without first obtaining an EPC from a registered company like us. Fortunately we will make the process cost effective and simple for you.

Environmental Impact
Global warming and a low carbon economy are two of the biggest challenges which face 21st century Britain and the emissions from industry are a major concern when looking at production of carbon dioxide. Buildings are responsible for almost 50% of the UK's energy consumption and carbon emissions.

Communities and Local Government have introduced measures in England and Wales to improve the energy efficiency of our buildings. The Government is committed to massively reducing the CO2 emissions which industry and domestic properties make in the UK and by commissioning an EPC you will discover how energy efficient your property currently is.
